Regular Community Users


Everyone is welcome to hire the Hall - be it for private or community use on a regular or one-off basis. Ribchester has a rich network of active community organisations and special interest groups, many of whom make regular use of our Village Hall facilities. These include:






 Big Junior Church

Junior Church

Junior Church happens every week (during term time) in the Village Hall, during the Sunday Eucharist service at St Wilfrid's church. Children leave the curch shortly after the start of the service to take part in supervised craft activities and stories.

Although line dancing is associated with country-western music and dance, it has similarities to folk dancing. It is also great exercise. Come along, get moving and have some fun!

Ribchester Amateur Theatrical Society regularly performs plays and pantomimes at the Village Hall. The society enjoys large audiences from all over the North West and prides itself on producing high quality productions.

New members of all ages are welcome from Ribchester and the surrounding villages.

Readings and rehearsals take place at the Village Hall on Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 7:30pm-10:00pm. Contact Jean Skilbeck on 01254 878530.




Yoga is an ancient form of exercise that focuses on strength, flexibility and breathing to boost physical and mental wellbeing. The practice originated in India about 5,000 years ago ad is a safe and effective way to increase physical activity, especially strength, flexibility and balance. Wednesdays, 6:00pm-7:30pm.
