As 2014 sees the centenary of the start of the First World War, we are pleased to stage a screening of this classic film. 

This 1930 classic American war film is based on the Erich Maria Remarque novel of the same name. It is widely considered to be a realistic account of warfare in WWI. 

In 1990, the film was selected and preserved by the United States Library of Congress' National Film Registry as being deemed "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant." 

Doors open 7pm with the film due to begin at 7:30pm. Entry is priced at £5 per person with proceeds going to to the Ribchester War Memorial Fund.
