Stonyhurst College's Schola Catorum choir will be giving a 'promenade' concert at St Wilfrid's and in the Village Hall on Friday 31st January.

The concert will include some capella pieces; solos from Stonyhurst music scholars; organ music and accompanied choral favourites. Titles to include Sonata in C minor for organ solo by Pescetti, Steal Away sung by the Tenors and Basses, Evening Hymn by Balfour Gardiner and Elgar's setting of The Snow.

There will be a cheese and wine evening sponsored by Booths in the Village Hall after the concert. Come and meet the young singers and their families, just before they set off on their trip to sing in Rome. A retiring collection will be made in support of the Rome Concert Tour for Stonyhurst Students.
